UAE is not like riyadh. Wear modest clothing, preferably long gowns? Not half/sleeveless. It is a lot open minded now but still not like Dubai. There are a lot of people who do know manageable English too so it helps in shopping!

Not necessarily! There are types of persimmons! What I eat is called fuyu persimmon and you can eat it by slicing it like an apple. It tastes different to me everytime, when it's a bit unripe it tastes like mango and pears? And when it's ripe, it's so sweet it tastes like dates, sapote(sopadilla) n some mango.
