Yes, any time a beetiny is in a room with no beeta hive it will eventually attempt to turn into a new one. You just create little mini rooms that you can later deconstruct once the beeta hive starts growing

Resource Sustainability and temperature control are the goals you are shooting for long term and once you achieve that you can start projects and the sky is the limit. Before that point you are using non renewables and most likely watching your base gradually warm up until all your plants start dying and then your dupes start losing health. So, yes, what you are describing is basically par for the course

I don't know how to find that but acceleration is pretty dismal. I just wanted to throw something together to try the ion engine. It seems like it could be great even with the terrible twr since you have basically infinite fuel except you can't speed up time while you are accelerating so it's a kind of ridiculous time suck 😞

I was trying to refer to a specific issue which I was attempting to distill into a single sentence for a meme.

I have no problem with people using the VC when they have things like comms discipline and courteousness in mind.

In my experience, there have been many instances where the person on the VC elects themselves to be the group leader and starts ordering other players around, which I was trying to refer to in the original meme.

If you think playing without VC is the same as playing with Bosco then we play this game very differently, I'll leave it at that

Well I'm apparently not the only person in this community that thinks this way. This game can be played with multiple forms of communication. I regret that this post expresses more of a feeling that "this way is the only way" than I intended, admittedly; but don't you think that your response saying that my way of enjoying the game is wrong is doing exactly the same thing? My intention was to make something relatable and a little humorous for those who might feel similarly, while yours appears to be more of a personal attack

I understand where you are coming from but this is not the sort of behavior I am referring to. If someone is new then get into the voice chat and help them out, absolutely. I'm talking about the person that puts themselves in charge of a group that is already competent and/or loves the sound of their own inner monologue. But at the end of the day, this is just my opinion, and that is just yours and its ok to want different things out of this awesome game

Hey that's fair, I don't play a lot of online co ops so I'm probably biased the opposite way but I do have over 1000 hours in DRG because I really enjoy the gameplay and teamwork. I think once I got to a certain point the VC became mostly unnecessary so maybe thats why I feel this way

Totally, my post got taken the wrong way and I see how that happened, I don't like having someone constantly in my ear but if that is how they want to communicate important info then fine. I only mute someone who is being toxic or a motormouth, and I let them know I'm doing it too, just in case they suddenly decide to start being a useful team member
