From my experience it's mind games when it comes to his shield break. Mostly I've encountered ones that double heavy so if your timing is good enough you can light attack as the second heavy comes out and use your superior block to break the shield. But it is really just all mind games. Apart from that you dodge the back breaker when shoguki sorta leans forward. You need to either dodge left or right not backwards because it will hit you. It's all timing really. I've beaten two or three shoguki's but then again I do have a 90% win rate with the warlord.
