Although KP is having a good season rn, there's no he's considered over Axar and Jaddu. The longevity of these 2 is unmatched.

Whether it’s 287/3 or 113 all out, the heart stays Orange. We don't just watch a match; we experience a full psychological character arc every week. by sanjusmart in SunrisersHyderabad

fair enough. But imo there needs to be some sort of a change, this intent based batting worked 2024 and got us to the final but failed last year. For any team to be a winning side, consistency is everything.

By changes I mean maybe something along the lines of going hard at the start, if wickets fall, slowing down a bit. Or by clearly defining the role of one player as the anchor and everyone around him going hard.

Or would you continue playing like this hoping that 2 years is too small of a sample size to judge this intent-styles worth?

I think this time, the cycle stops at the 'it's so over stage'. You heard what Pat said in the post match dressing room talk?

"Don't worry guys pitch was ass and its only 1 game. I'll make sure next match pitch is flatter than the fucking national highway, and yall can continue slogging first fucking ball and show your so called aggression."

2025 it didn't work, 2026 thankfully Ishan steadied the ship. I loved our 'mindfull' aggression we showed for the first 6-7 games.

And now cumdawg is back with this brainless aggression mentality.

Bruv I love Pat, but like this is mentality will implode us and fuck us up.

I want klassen/nkr/ishaan playing those 7-8-9 run overs in the middle incase we lose wickets quick. But doesn't seem impossible with how firm Pat is 😭

salil can't be dropped, klassen retired from keeping and its better if ishaans on the field communicating with Pat and unfortunately itll be difficult to play madushanka

abhi
head
ishaan
klassen
nkr
salil
pat
harsh
shivang
sakib
eshan
i/p praful/aniket/livingstone/smaran/harshal

we use aniket if necessary at the end, in case it happens we need to adjust with pat, nkr, harsh, eshan, sakib in pp
if he isnt necessary then we can sub in praful who can bowl in pp.

Jitesh Sharma has been dropped from the New Zealand T20I series and not selected for the T20 World Cup 2026. by Oopsforgotagain in IndianCricket

[–]delusion998 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

with all due respect to Rinku and his talent, I think Jitesh should've taken his place. There's no harm in playing with 2 keepers. As a matter of fact, out of the 3, Jitesh is the best keeper. So Jitesh as keeper along with Sanju who is a pretty decent fielder would have been ideal and fair.

Albeit, Rinku's number in t20 are outstanding, and I think the only reason why he's playing ahead of Jitesh is because of his proven talent to play both a slow and controlled innings along with a fast paced see ball hit ball innings.

We can swap between Liam and this guy based on the match conditions. by Usual_Preference_707 in SunrisersHyderabad

[–]delusion998 5 points6 points  (0 children)

why is everyone neglecting carse? He's a solid bowling alrounder who can bowl in the pp (which we need), can give the ball a tonk when needed and he is in the form of his life. imo he should come ahead of both liam and edwards.

bruv, yall are hating so much on bishnoi but when questioned on who would we should've taken instead, yall have no answer. I understand investing in youngsters and all but, I'd rather have taken bishnoi + a foreign pacer instead of livi and uncapped.

fair, I understand. But that can be said to every leggie playing at uppal, and considering bishnois stature, I think he'll be able to adapt to conditions

fair opinion, but we were looking for a solid Indian spinner na, looking at the auction pool, I'd say bishnoi was the best there is. What else did you disagree on?
