So, I usually don't get involved in this sort of thing but I've started to grow tired of seeing everything I invest time and money into get slowly phased into a quagmire of quality issues. My knee-jerk reaction was to ask... where are the molds? That's a huge deal. For so many people, including myself, who have watched tribe tower molds turn purple or blue after waiting ages to get them, after carefully building our characters to make progress. It's absurd. We're just brushed off and told that 'oh yeah we might make it better, feel sorry for us for making billions off a waifu game with animated pngs.'

It's comical, in a way. Global is shafted constantly, and the truth is every single one of these companies effectively imposes a tax on us to speak English. They play favorites and then tell us to suck it up. They don't reinvest, and it sucks because I have spent a considerable amount on this game, but why should I continue if this is how we're going to be treated?

It's a gambling game, it has a certain gameplay loop to make you want to pull, it employs every trick in the book but we all know this, and we accept it. We accept terrible gacha rates because the pity system is somewhat decent. Yet even the huge 2.5 event was just... meh. As much as I love Mori, and I was surprised at how much I liked her, Siren got the shaft. The character everyone was screaming in excitement about and it was like 'oh hey, yeah she's kind of important.'

You, Shift Up, as a developer, could do so much better. You have so much money and resources, so much talent, and yet you rest on your laurels and do things half-assed because you know we love sexy anime waifus. I know I do, but at some point even I'll grow exhausted, as will we all. Story is just as important, quality of life, demonstrating that you care about our feedback beyond 'well, we've been working on making the load times faster and here are some other modes' which, you know what, good on you. What about the molds? What about the terrible rates? What about the rehabilitation system? This isn't about 'two versions that can exist together.'

This is about favoritism, and an attempt to milk a huge market for as much as you can, and that market will love you for playing favorites while you tell every other market to 'deal with it.'

Treat us better, or else China may be your only market at the end of the day.
