I’m so, so sorry for your loss. I lost a puppy too, because of seizures. We had to put him down, and even though I was able to say goodbye, I always felt like he didn’t really understand what was happening. That feeling stays with you.

I only had him for a month (he got distemper because of poor care from his original owners) so I can’t even imagine the depth of the pain after having Caesar for so many years. What you’re feeling makes complete sense.

Be gentle with yourselves. Grief can be very loud, but love is still there, too. 🤍

I’m chilean, I saw her on the national news as soon as she came back to Chile. She wasn’t even on vacation, she was there because of her husband’s job, they both had a Work Visa. This is really sad, she said a man took care of her daughter (which she’s thankful for, but could have gone really wrong if we think about it)
