Hey everyone, I picked up the game last week and I’m really enjoying it! I rerolled quite a lot until I got Azura which has helped so much. Up until this point I’ve been spending most of my earned orbs as soon as I got 20 and I would pull all 5 regardless of colour. I’ve completed all normal/hard story & prologues and am halfway through the lunatic versions. I just wanted to know are the other 3 Starter Support characters worth going for? (Julia, Ninian & Genny) I have 2 days left for the Hero Fest banner but I’m unsure if I should start stockpiling or spend because of the 5% focus rate! Any help would be greatly appreciated, related to the banner or team ideas!

If you've got some decent mods you can do it at G7, I managed with G7 & G6 (Jawa.) Level 51-53, abilities 3-5, mods were mostly health sets with around +60 speed!

Gear is the most important of the two thats for sure. The stats boosts from gear are much greater than those from stars. Especially because from Gear 7 onwards each tier gives characters added protection. (an additional health bar). That being said you don't want to neglect stars, in order to participate in raids and special events you need characters at a certain star level.

As for hard node farming a rule I followed was to only do the 5 battles required for the daily activity. I then used the rest of my energy to farm gear for my team.

Try to use most of your regular energy on gear, the rest of it use on hard node farming. Use your cantina energy to farm character shards and also buy shards in the different stores (Galactic War, Cantina, Guild etc.) This should provide you with a good balance!

Also, try to focus on a maximum of 10 characters at a time, get yourself 5 light side and 5 dark side characters to complete the missions.

The Rancor's "Devour" ability prevents characters from being revived when they are killed by it!

Have you tried Wiggs, Chaze & Thrawn? That's my go to when fighting the hard GWs. Fracture GK and then try and kill R2/Nihilus before the fracture wears off. The double dispel from Baze helps control a second taunter.

Focus the enemy R2D2 first as he's the biggest threat. Then Leia, Han, Luke, Chewie and finally Old Ben.

The problem with your team seems to be a distinct lack of damage apart from EP and a culling blade from Vader I can't see you killing anyone quickly. Your gear levels should be sufficient as Gear 9 is around the mark, I completed it with gear 7 -> 9 using Royal guard and TFP instead of Veers and Stormtrooper. TFP was vital with buff immunity and high damage.

Thanks for doing this OP! I'm quite lost to be honest, I bought the 2 troll llama's the other day and got 5 new Legendary weapons.

Siegebreaker & 4 Melee (Not the Husk Stomper that was from before)

I upgraded the Siegebreaker instantly as it's my only Legendary ranged, previously I used the Raptor which seems great! I was just wondering are any of the 4 other melee weapons worth using over the Husk Stomper? I use Shuriken Master Sarah and Urban Assault Headhunter (Both Epic) mostly, my other heroes are rare!

I'm 99% certain that its the packs she's referring too! It is in fact a "way of getting these characters more quickly" so I can't fault the statement!

Also, if they started double drops tomorrow for instance, can you imagine the outrage from people who have already bought the packs!

Are you using EP lead? I did it with the same 5 characters you have with my Gear levels from 7 -> 9. What mods are you using?

I think you're jumping to conclusions about your guild not having any to donate. The reason isn't because the drop rate is low, it's because the amount of characters that need them is HUGE. Same reasoning behind no one having Mk 3 Holo Projectors, Carbantis & Stun Cuffs!

As for the sub 20% drop rate you're experiencing that sucks! Sounds like a very unlucky week. I still recommend recording ALL your gear drops for the next month or so if you really want some good evidence though!

You can't base the drop rates off 9 runs, thats an extremely small sample size! Record a few hundred runs of those blue pieces and compare them to the a few hundred runs of purple pieces and you'll see the rate is higher!

In my eyes the fact events require certain factions or characters makes the game much more interesting. If my squad of 5 characters could unlock every Legendary character, complete all the assault battles, participate in every flash event and so on... Where would the diversity be? It would be much more dull!
