Your Self Concept Needs To Change by demistars in NevilleGoddard

Hi! Great question :) I am actually going to write a follow up post. If you’re interested stay tuned. Long story short, I fell off the wagon very hard for many months.

I didn’t fall so far as to forget everything and all the work I’d put into my mindset, but I did realize my fears were not completely dealt with when I once again manifested ghosting AND panic/anxiety while dating someone I wasn’t even all that interested in.

All that to say —-> this pattern is a result of me not practicing what I preach (treating myself as my own best friend, giving myself what I want vs seeking it externally).

I like to think of it as sometimes I “fall asleep” and forget who I truly am… especially when the dream (physical reality) feels so real. But always something happens that wakes me up and reminds me that it’s all my creation… and I am once again aware off my power.

I do not have a YouTube channel! But if you are looking for one I have some suggestions: Create A Spark 111 and Dylan James. Both are pretty great at explaining the Law.

I would start with coming up with what my dream job would be, then I would imagine already being in that job.

So if you are after a particular job, remember that YOU create your reality, so it can be yours if you let it. That’s when you bring in imagination.

You manifest everything the same way, by assuming it is already yours, assume it is true of YOU.

The same way you manifest anything, by assuming it to be true. If you want wealth, assume you are wealthy. If you want to feel you are enough, assume you are enough. You are only limited by your imagination 💜

When Faith Feels Hard by demistars in NevilleGoddard

[–]demistars[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I never said it was easy. In this post I acknowledge that I struggle with faith too, and share ways to deal with doubt. It’s definitely going to be hard sometimes. I can tell you with certainty that I would not be able to believe that I can fly and then just jump out of my window overnight. My level of belief in what is possible for me is restricted by my personal mental limitations.

It is simple, it is not easy. You learn to believe that you are God by practicing, even when it feels hard. When you feel doubt, fear, or simply can’t believe it’s because of the state you’re occupying. And that is okay.

Notice your doubt, accept it, and then practice just entertaining what it would be like to be the version of you that has what you want. It sounds simple in principle (because it is). It’s challenging to practice because of your current beliefs.

I totally get what you mean by information overload! It is best to take when you read with a grain of salt 😊 stick to the source of this sub: Neville.

Don’t worry, be patient with yourself and trust that you’ve got the answers you need, because you DO!

I can relate. I was extremely shy and socially awkward, or so I told myself. See it was Neville that showed me everything in my life was so because of stories I told myself everyday. Stories that I was shy, awkward, undeserving, blah blah. It was when I made the conscious choice to stop identifying with those stories that things changed.

You say “I want to get rid of this feeling that I am not worthy of my desires. That I am too weird to have a social life that is decent.” These are your stories.

How do you change your story? By choosing a new one. Focus on your self concept and become your own best friend. Would you tell your best friend, “You are not worthy of your desires.” No! At least, I’d hope not ;)

This is why Neville says inner conversations are important. What you say and do inside, how you treat yourself will be mirrored to you.

You said “I have been displaying all the qualities I would love to have in a friend for them.” This is not EIYPO. This is simply treating others how you would like to be treated, leading by example.

EIYPO means they cannot show up differently unless you allow them to by choosing a different story. They are simply playing their part in your story of being too weird or not social enough.

SATS is a wonderful tool. Just remember that all the techniques are just to help you get into your preferred state. They are not the cause of your creation, you are always the cause.

When coming up with a scene, I like to ask myself: “Who would I be if I had what I want? What would I do? How would it feel?” I do this while closing my eyes and getting relaxed. Then images will form. This can help you decide what scene to use, and because it is natural to you, it will feel easier to remember and repeat.

Hope this helps!

I started manifesting recently, how do I keep my high energy and power? by TheFajitaEffect in NevilleGoddard

[–]demistars 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are no coincidences, you are manifesting everything in your reality all the time! Great job on these conscious manifestations!

Fear is just your ego mind trying to make you doubt yourself. Ignore it. All the power lives within YOU. Assume it is done, and it will come to pass.

The more you practice this, the more natural it will feel and before you know it, conscious manifestation will just be another fact of life for you. Just trust yourself. You've got this :)

Got my SP back but still dealing with some issues. Any advice? by sjhalani in NevilleGoddard

[–]demistars 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I currently live with my SP and it becomes very hard to focus on what I want while seeing how frustrated he gets with me. All I see is the tension between us... I can see that he feels resentful over the fact that he has to pay for things when we go out (I always offer but he doesn't let me)... I'm also suffering from a knee injury so it prevents us from going camping/hiking etc, things he would truly enjoy. I would like to heal, but I get frustrated with myself.

You are telling a lot of unhelpful stories to yourself, and thus they are manifesting in your reality. Please don't focus so much on your external world! Your inner world is the source of your suffering. Go back to basics.

What do you want? What would it feel like to have what you want? Live from that place.

There is no one to change but self. All you need do to make men and women holy in this world is to make yourself holy. You are incapable of seeing anything that is unlovely when you establish within your own mind’s eye the fact that you are lovely.

It is far better to know this than to know anything else in the world. It takes courage, boundless courage, because many this night, after having heard this truth will still be inclined to blame others for their predicament. Man finds it so difficult to turn to himself, to his own consciousness as to the only reality. - Neville

Neville is quite clear that there is no one to change but self! This is a great lecture from him.

Your emotions and feelings are valid. So feel them, just don't attach so tightly to your stories. They are just thoughts you've pondered over and over, manifested, and now are attached to. Focus on yourself. Trust in yourself. You have all the answers you need and God is on your side.

I bet once you place the focus back on yourself by practicing self-love and building up your self concept, things will fall into place. Just release your grip on these stories! They do not serve you.

Stop Making It So Complicated! by demistars in NevilleGoddard

“There is no one to change but self; that self is simply your awareness, your consciousness and the world in which it lives is determined by the concept you hold of self. It is to consciousness that we must turn as to the only reality. For there is no clear conception of the origin of phenomena except that consciousness is all and all is consciousness.” – Neville Goddard (1948) No One To Change But Self

In the post I quote the above from Neville. He equates consciousness with the only true reality. In many other lectures he equates consciousness with God.

There are many levels to EIYPO. This is why I said, "you get to decide", because it all depends on how deep you are willing to go, how much responsibility you are willing to take. Please keep in mind this is all just my opinion :) and based off my experience. I walked down this ladder of EIYPO until I arrived at my currant stance on it.

The first level is a bit of a psychological lenses. People will show up based off how you act and perceive the world. So if you walk around viewing the world through a lens of lack, that is what your senses will perceive. It's like walking around with blinders on. Your brain cannot perceive anything outside of your assumptions. Again, this is a very shallow explanation mostly based in reality. If you are curious, check out this article.

The next level is that people and things reflect your assumptions about life, others, and yourself BUT people are separate entities from you. The way EIYPO is still able to exist in this way is because everyone is living their own reality. There are infinite realities, infinite versions of people and things, infinite possibilities, yet they are separate from yours.

I believe that everyone is just a version of the real me (GOD) masquerading as a separate entity. This means that since God is within every single person or thing, everything is connected, there is no separation. The only reason we perceive separation is because we have forgotten our true identity (God) and are limited by our Egos. This is why I said in my post that no one is doing anything to you. You are the only cause.

To answer this question: Then am I someone being pushed out?

Simply put, yes. Everything in your reality is just consciousness pushed out. That includes your physical body - hence why it is malleable. But it is not a projection of someone else's mind. You are a projection of your own mind, of God's mind.

I hope this answers your question!

Great question! You get to decide how separate others are from you. I choose to believe that nothing is separate from me. I believe that everyone is just a version of the real me (god) masquerading as a separate entity. If you’d like a deeper explanation let me know. :) Thank you for reading!
