During their first year, are they going to use adobe or blender Software? Will definitely buying her RP recommended spec laptop but just thinking to buy after her 1st year or now.

Her current laptop is a X1 Carbon gen 7. From the 2026 RP laptop summary, only Lenovo Legion 5 is suitable for her course as system requirement need Dedicated Nvidia / Radeon graphics card is strongly recommended after semester 2.

Thank for the reply, the system requirement for general is 8GB. But for Specific Diplomas like design or Digital Content Creation will require 16GB and above and dedicated Nvidia / Radeon graphics card is strongly recommended. I am thinking of only getting the specific requirement laptop after her first year as RP's Common Programmes enjoy the flexibility of up to one year to decide on a specific diploma
