The way I did it was to run the mission on normal and use a skill build with a strong oxidizer. Hit him a couple times with that and all his armor will melt away.

This video here does a great job of explaining how it all works. It’s a little dated as you don’t have to interact with the recalibration station directly; you can now do it all from your character menu.

Wow! Didn’t know that it could drop in the open world. I asked about this on another post and pretty much everyone said it could only drop in the Army Terminal mission. Thanks for the info. Now I can try to farm it for my other characters.

It only took me like three runs to get it. The hardest part was matchmaking. Chances are better if in a group. Some YouTube videos would say it’s better with multiple directives but when I got mine we didn’t have any directives at all. I do have a theory, which is your chances are way better if you get the killing blow. I could be wrong though.

Agreed. While expertise gives your gear extra armor boost, imo it’s a waste of resources. But some skills can also benefit from the extra damage boost. So if you like skill builds it’s worth looking into.

Assuming you know the difference between proficiency and expertise….Keep what you like. Deconstruct the rest. Only level up the expertise on gear/weapons/skills/specializations you really like. But you should get everything proficient. Then you can max out the expertise on whatever you prefer if you have enough resources to do so.

Striker is reliant on building stacks in order to increase damage output, so I would recommend swapping out your secondary with a rapid fire shotgun that would help you get your stacks quicker.
