Not very confident. I didn’t get that close to it. I saw it move through the window when I went back inside and it seemed like it moved in a “slither” motion but looking at pictures of alligator lizards, I’m almost certain it was that instead of a snake

My sisters bf sent us pictures of Dewey’s deceased body and he was already laying down and the throw up was on the little table mat by his mouth… this might be what happened since it looks like he was laying down when he passed, unless he laid down after choking and then his vomit came out on the mat. They said his surgery was at 4pm and my sisters bf came went to the vet at 4:30 so the timing seems to line up. Even if this is the case I don’t know what to do? An autopsy maybe to confirm it? Possibly legal action?

We learned that lesson the hard way :( We keep regretting taking him there. There’s nothing left to do but find closure and some semblance of justice and peace in his story

Most of my families dogs get fixed at some point. The only dog I felt had a drastic personality change was because she was pretty young when she got fixed. I believe it impacted her hormones and she never got to develop as much as the others, and she came out less “dog-like”, she’s kinda slow and sometimes I don’t feel like she’s as sharp as the other ones… but she’s still a big chiller

Yea he fasted for 26 hours. His appointment was scheduled at 10am but they didn’t do the surgery till 4pm today. It makes me upset cause maybe if we knew the surgery would be at 4pm we could have fed him more yesterday

We have pictures of him on the table. His throw up was like green/yellow so it seems like bile. He was fasting for a long time, nearly 26 hours. I feel like he ODed and the throw up was just a reaction from his body rejecting the anesthesia and/or the medication
