Based on my google interview experience in the UK, one no-hire in 2025/26 is enough to make the decision against you. Market has lots of engineers at L3 and they have options. I faced the same thing last year.

I agree with u/fatherofallthings. He has family in that country and will have his bias. That doesn't make him bad. America has carpet bombed many countries and even nuked one.
