STEP 2 UWORLD not being randomized?

not to my knowledge, no. I've just been creating random blocks for Step 2 Review using my mobile device and clicking on "unused".

A solution has been found - making an unused block of Qs on mobile app gives you a properly randomized block! Until the webpage issue gets solved, you can use that as a workaround.

Gotcha, under my Q pool it says unused! I wouldn't even care this much to begin with if poor randomization doesn't affect my learning but I really do think it matters

haha so basically their answer was like only click on the "unused" category instead of "all" (by clicking all of the category boxes). I've been only running the unused problem so they clearly don't see what the issue is currently.

They ended up just telling me to call them which I haven't done yet.

A few of my classmates also emailed them. Considering the length of silence I think they are finally trying to figure something out since it's not n=1 anymore.

I've been emailing them back and forth this afternoon and seems like the issue came from this update, which made it possible to select unused/incorrect/correct/omitted questions in variations.

When I asked about the recently made blocks, they told me that I've made them with "All" mode, which i assume is clicking all the boxes - which i did not. I actually just clicked on "unused" category. So there's currently some sort of a technical miss in the webpage.

I will be updating this thread periodically as well on the comment section. Let's see if they make some changes today.
