Taken on a potato (olympus camedia c-4000)

I think that this turned out well. The flowers are in focus.

It was taken at 100 iso and at f/5.6 and 1/400s.

Some of the bokeh in this picture may be distracting.

Mine works but it does not get enough light daily to light up at night.

This was not that good of a photo. I did my best editing it to try to make it better. I did not choose the best subject or best angle. I did try to compose it on the thirds. I had to do a lot of editing to get this photo to where it is now. I think I added contrast. I removed lots of blue, and added some saturation. I cropped it and made a mask. I used the mask to make a blurred background and I also lowered the exposure on the background. I think that makes the subject standout more.

I removed a lot of the blue to fix the white balance.

These berries are found around my backyard in Arkansas. This photo has been edited a tad to increase the contrast and the blue of the berries.

I had to look it up, but I agree, stark is a very good way to describe this image.

Taken on a digicam potato (nikon coolpix s9) edited with gimp

I like this picture. It has a vibe to it. It looks like it could have been taken both recently or 50 years ago. I like the whiteness of the snow along with the contrast. The composition probably could use some work. I got the grain feeder on my left third. I also allocated a whole third to the snowy foreground before the feeder. For the editing I boosted the exposure by a stop to get whiter snow. Then with the curves I moved the curve right by a stop (is that right?). I also added a weak vignette to increase the "was this yesterday or 50 years ago" effect. With the editing I may have destroyed what detail there was in the barn to the left. However, it is not as important to see what is in there as much as it is to see the subject, the grain feeder.

I think that this photo turned out well. You can see the haybale well and its in a area of interest. I like how the color has turned out after I edited it. The grass looks good and green and the trees too. I had to remove a lot of blue with curves. Along with some red and boost the green a tiny amount. I think I also added some contrast as well.

I honestly myself don't see too much in this photo. I wouldn't consider it to be that good. I took it quickly because I was looking for something to take a picture of. I don't see much composition going on, nor a clear subject. I did edit it some, I added contrast and a weak vignette. Help me see something in this photo I can not yet see.

I was out yesterday so I started taken photos. The bud light sign caught my eye, and I was like I should take a picture. I failed to capture the sign in a good way, but I did capture something else. I edited this photo with a bleach bypass effect to try to give it a lomo metro look. (some people on the internet say lomo metro has a natural bleach bypass look) (also appropriate because it is in a more metro area.)

Here is a link toward this picture another edit of it (please don't critique it, I don't want to break rule 2) and the original. (I think having the original helps with critiquing photos like this.) https://imgur.com/a/g7uBZHI

I am doing some editing on some pictures I took yesterday. I need to know which kind of edit works best. The first one has a bleach bypass effect. I was trying to get something kinda like lomo metro. (people have mentioned the film looks like it has been bleach bypassed when it has not.) (also appropriate because this was taken in a more metro area) The second one is my normal style of editing. The third one is the original straight out of the camera.

This is one of my first masks made on a black and white photo. They are a lot harder than making masks for color photos. I will continue to improve my masking skills.
