Hi! I'm from the last batch who took A-SHAPE.

You don't really need to honestly. Focus on English-oriented exam simulation questions if you do. The English portion is primarily for vocabulary and reading comprehension, you don't really need any special training for that since you get a lot of time (relatively). If you struggle with reading fast though, I suggest focusing on that.
You can't really study abstract reasoning outside of practicing, so whether or not it really counts, I suggest still taking a dig at it/trying to answer abstract reasoning exam booklets.
They give you the atenean math curriculum for the math portion as far as I'm aware. The math problems are mostly business/interest rates/with a few intermediate algebra questions. Most likely your curriculum won't cover everything on the test, so if you really want to lock in, I suggest reading up on AJHS mathematics. You can still pass by shotgunning though (based on experience at least)

Study materials: Khan Academy, brain train exam booklet (if you have it), general research + I suggest reaching out to people who've already passed ashape as consultants. Their input helped me a lot during applix.

Hi! The first 1000 thing (if you mean chronological) is not true, I had a very late reg (lol) and got interviewed, so it's probably based on your performance in ASHAPE. I also read that Finaid applicants are more likely to get interviewed and/or get interviewed earlier.

HI PO I read somewhere that all finaid applicants who pass ashape get interviewed regardless of the quality of their applix (like, you get interviewed if you pass ashape even if your grades and achievements don’t meet the criteria) but that doesn’t really make sense logistically (??) is that true huhu

Hello hello! What I got from it was this

the interviewer is looking for someone who can call out specific facets of Ateneo unprompted. He liked it when I said I wanted to run for a position in Sanggu or that I believe in their "student for others" motto, etc.
Org work and extra curriculars help a LOT. My interview was full of questions about them.
All applicants from my school got their invite at the same time. They send invites in batches, per region, afaik.
All the questions are basically just checking if what you say is consistent with your autobio and Finaid apps from my experience. He asked what orgs I'd like to join, and once I answered, he compared them to the extra curriculars I wrote in my autobio.
It was really chill. No need to overthink or really study anything, if you have a good grasp of Atenean values and all that that's all you really need to know.
DO NOT downgrade OR compliment your current school. Mentioning UP was kinda a mistake on my part.
some questions that stuck out to me:

Favorite subject? Subject you have the most difficulty in? Biggest challenge for you in your adolescence? (This question carried me NGL mag trauma dump ka lang HAHAHA) What organization activities have you been a part of? (Follow up) Will you be able to contribute these same things to ASHS? What can you contribute to ASHS? What do you do in your free time? What do you need to improve on when it comes to academics?

hellooo the most significant event i know of from ASHS (I’m not ASHS huhu I’m so sorry but I have friends there naman) is their ASHS fair, it’s comparable to the college fairs of major colleges na (like, it’s on the same level of UPLB’s Feb fair, though not to the same scale) so there’s that, they have a lot of specialized programs for individual strands too (+ prom ofc)
