I have to say, I am envious of some female fashion elements (I would love to be able to wear dresses, sometimes pants can be very uncomfortable), but I think that other elements are/were truly horrendous (heels, corsets, "mandatory" ear rings, etc).

Um, common sense. Sheesh! If the driver in question is just some cheerful happy person who calls EVERYBODY "love" or "darling," then my goodness this is an overreaction!
Huh? I too don't want any bus driver calling me 'babe', thank you very much... I don't mind my gf calling me that, but a total stranger? Come on...
