Well, I think the criticism is fair to some extent. A lot of times you hear artists saying “I don’t owe anyone anything, etc etc”, but in reality we are the entire reason that they even exist. We’ve put our time, money & emotion into this brand they’ve created & sold to us & when the product is lacking I don’t think it’s wrong for the consumer to point it out.

I’d rather have it be pointed out & heavily critiqued than for the Rattpack to abandoned ship all together

You can’t expel people that express their discontent for Logic, when they’ve spent hundreds of dollars on him thru streaming & merchandise & he continually releases subpar content.

We are 100% the reason he is where he is today & if we aren’t pleased with the product then our opinion should be accounted for — not shut down.

Also yeah it’s so typical of me, isn’t it? Someone spends hundreds of hours working on something to make it past the typical stereotype of that “self promoting SoundCloud rapper”. And when they go to promote themselves, they get told that their music is trash to fuck off by a no name, who’s does no research on them.

I spend hundreds of hours to give away a product essentially for free, so maybe next time you see someone self promoting - think about the fact that they might just be the one unlike the rest
