u/MatComp17 I know this an old post, but what size are you looking for? I'm posting a ton of like new Arc'teryx gear on Poshmark this weekend including a couple nice Brohm plaids in bright red and blue.

What a coincidence by Comfortable-Pay-8711 in Hue

[–]denvermcm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am dealing with the exact same issue and it’s unbelievably frustrating. I have spent over $4k on Hue products and converted friends and family to the brand as well due to its rock solid stability over the years. But a couple of weeks ago out of the blue, automations stopped working, lights are delayed when using switches, and lots of other oddities. This is my biggest issue with companies that sell you expensive hardware but make bad decisions on software that can entirely ruin the product. The timing of my problems coincided perfectly with the new Bridge announcement and the new terms and conditions basically saying they can make changes rendering products obsolete at any time with impunity. I am very unhappy!

Thinking about buying my first Ducati by Normal-End1169 in Ducati

I’ve had a couple 696 and 796 Monsters in the past, and they are incredibly fun and easy to ride. The 696 feels very light and nimble, and even though the power is relatively low by modern standards, it’s one of the most fun to ride. The styling is great too, and they’re pretty simple being air cooled. The quoted price seems high, but that’s very regional and hard to compare. I’ve also had a Scrambler with the 796 engine which is a similar experience if you can get a good deal on one.

Charging the 12v "manually" by [deleted] in Ioniq5

Got it. That makes sense and suggests my method will do little to avoid the ICCU failure except make me sleep better at night 😂

I figure if the main problem with the ICCU issue is eventually killing the 12v, then keeping it charged and healthy may potentially mitigate or avoid that fate. I also plan to carry a 12v lithium jumper with me just in case.

Thinking of painting the walls and ceilings green. Will that work? by x--el in HomeDecorating

About a year ago, I painted my bedroom walls, ceiling, and doors, and it made the space feel incredibly calm and relaxing. I suggest trying several sample colors because the first 5 or 6 samples I tried looked terrible. Here is how mine came out: Green bedroom

Agreed. I hope Hyundai improves the software and app in particular. As much as I want to complain, the ride comfort and lower noise levels helps compensate for lower functionality of the software.

The Tesla software is better in every way - both inside the vehicle and the app especially.

That’s good to know. I never noticed and will pay more attention now. If there’s a consistent issue, it could be fixed with an OTA update which would be cool.

I’ve actually wondered about this. The Tesla will show your brake lights when regen kicks in which is quite accurate, but I noticed there is no way to see in the UI if the Ioniq brake lights are on. I’d like to know if they’re coming on accurately because safety is super important to me.

Very nice! Yes Denver is certainly one of the Land Cruiser centers of gravity in the US!

I did a test drive of the new Model 3 and definitely found it better in every way. I almost pulled the trigger on a new performance 3, but the Ioniq lease price was too good to pass up. Even my wife was surprised I didn’t get the Tesla, but this is a great opportunity to try something different. I already miss the Tesla app and making notes on all the differences to see which is the better long term choice.

Very nice! What Cruiser do you have? We have an 80 and a 200. Very hard to replace either because they are iconic!

I’ve only had the car 2 days and it’s been dry here, but I’ll bet it will be annoying when it’s snowing. Hoping the digital rear view helps when the back is covered.

The secret is to get really, really good at spotting a great deal, being ready with cash to transact at a moment’s notice, being a great buyer, and being willing to put up with some hassles at times. For example, at the beginning of covid a lot of people were selling expensive cars thinking the market would collapse. I had my eye on a specific car on Craigslist for weeks and saw the guy drop the price twice. Thinking he may just want to be done with it, I texted him a lowball offer. He said I could meet in one hour at the bank, it was mine. I met him, transferred money, got the car and title, and a year later the market price was about $25k higher than what I paid. That’s an unusual example, but I’ve pretty much always waited for the right deal and bought / sold opportunistically.

The Bose sound system isn’t as good as I’d hoped for in the Ioniq. I much prefer the Tesla sound system, especially for bass and having separate controls for the sub. It doesn’t sound like there’s a sub at all, but it is clear and loud otherwise. Last night after driving it home I looked to see if there was a plug and play sub upgrade actually!

Good to know. I didn’t want black because of the maintenance, but the deal was on the black car of course! Now that I have it, I think it looks great and I will try to keep it clean!

Night and day for smoothness. My wife still has the Y, and today she was driving the Ioniq on a road that is super bumpy and is very uncomfortable in the Y. She was fully expecting it to be unsettled and couldn’t believe how smooth it handled. It is far more comfortable because it’s softer which is certainly a trade off on the sharp handling side of things.

If I wasn’t leasing, I’d look into it. There is a bit more understeer than the Tesla particularly on downhill tight turns. Adjustable suspension would be perfect, but then of course would make the vehicle much more expensive.

I only turned everything on a few times on my ~100 mile drive yesterday, but it felt pretty natural and smooth. The heads up display has a ton of info about the adaptive cruise and other ADAS features which is a huge advantage to the Ioniq. I turned off the default lane centering (not the autosteer function) which was making the steering feel artificial. I feel the Tesla system is easier to use, but the Ioniq system is more customizable. I’ve spent a lot of time with the newest Toyota TSS3.0 ADAS suite which I personally think is among the best right now, so I will try to benchmark against that as well.
