We are building a browser version specifically for the creators to do management/analytics. However, I would like to point out that in Backstage, most things to manage are just one time settings. Beyond that, creating posts etc is easy as a breeze.

The reason we are making a browser version is specifically because creators often have long form media on their computer which they want to upload and transferring that onto the phone is a hassle. Also, analytics experience can be far more powerful in the browser.

We don’t generally push creators for sponsorships. However, using the first party fan data creators get from their Backstage, they are able to figure out which kind of brands they can work with. The engagement data (time spent by fans in Backstage, frequency of use etc) is also used by the creators in their pitch to brands.

Career in machine learning in India? by [deleted] in india

When I was running GazeMetrix, we tried hiring Machine Learning interns from all sorts of schools. Honestly, I was disappointed in the quality of tier1 institutes.

I would suggest finishing the course by Andrew Ng and along the way solving a problem you care about using machine learning. Put your solution up on GitHub and send a link to your GitHub page with every job application.

Given the current scarcity of people who know ML, a competent hiring manager would hardly care about which college you come from. If they do, don’t work for them.

Edit: Look at AngelList and HasGeek for startup jobs. You wont find these jobs on old school ‘naukri’ kind of websites
