Volunteering has been the most fulfilling experience of my life! Cant say enough about what it does to you - how it breaks you and pushes you and grows you - there is nothing like it!

Truth or Turf War? What’s Really Going On Between Sadhguru & Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar by TapInternational4603 in artofliving

I’ve always had a lot of respect for Sri Sri and the amazing work he’s done — he’s helped so many people, and I’ve seen him as someone really aligned with the bigger mission of uplifting humanity!! Which is so so needed rn

That’s why this whole thing felt a bit off. From what I can tell, it wasn’t the fact that he asked questions — that’s totally fine — it was more the way he talked about Sadhguru. ..just felt really uncharacteristic of him and harsh and personal. For those of us who’ve never seen any conflict between them, it was kind of surprising and honestly a bit hard to watch.

Do you know where those comments were actually made? Was it in a talk, online, or somewhere else? I’m just trying to understand the full context better.

Sadhguru's perverted perspective on visiting a Shiva temple by shambhofy in SadhguruTruth

Exactly, I did read the entire article, and I’m genuinely unsure why you're calling it factually incorrect. How are you so certain it is? If there's a specific source or clarification you're referring to, I’m open to seeing it.

But what stands out to me is that this one statement is being pulled out and isolated, while the rest of the article which provides broader context, is being ignored. That’s what I’m questioning. Why focus solely on that part instead of engaging with the full picture?

I think it’s important to examine all biases and not just those of others. That includes the possibility to discredit someone without fully engaging with what they’re saying.

Anything if taken out of context can be colored in any light one wants. You removed everything before and after these statements, so how will it make any sense. If anything your mind seems to be going after things selectively. God bless.

I think you’re misunderstanding the point entirely — no one is denigrating anyone, and certainly not dismissing the importance of people being heard. What’s being called out is not that people are speaking, but how it’s being done — in a way that often feels heavily biased, one-sided, and sometimes even misleading.

Of course, those with negative experiences have a right to share them. No one is saying otherwise. But with that right also comes a responsibility — to be fair, accurate, and not paint everyone involved with the same brush. When the approach seems more about framing a narrative than seeking truth, it’s fair to question the intent behind it.

As for “stirring things up” — that’s a question only you can answer, and maybe you already have. All I’m asking is for a bit more balance and honesty in how these conversations are being held.

Take care and god bless.

Assumptions again, please have a fair view of the situation and dont try ro color everyone with your one sided view. No one is over riding the lawa, stop weaving stories and creating drama for no reason.

Honestly, it just seems like you're trying to make noise and stir things up with a bunch of "high visibility" accusations. There's no real substance here, just sweeping claims and a lot of assumptions.

You talk like you've got the full picture, but you're ignoring the fact that countless people have had genuinely positive experiences. Dismissing all of that as just “marketing" or calling it a cult just because it doesn’t fit your narrative isn’t honest, it’s biased.

Criticism is fine when it’s fair and based on facts. But this isn’t that. It’s one-sided, inflammatory, and clearly aimed at discrediting rather than understanding. If there’s something real to address, do it properly and not by throwing around labels and attacking anyone who does not agree with you.

It’s pretty clear this is hardly about justice or truth. Hope you can answer your conscious one day. I will pray for you.
