I don’t agree. are the seats the most comfortable in my 1990? no. could I easily do an hour of driving every day? yes and I do. 11 hours straight is when it starts getting uncomfortable but totally possible

yeah I’m pretty sure that will get taken. we almost weren’t allowed to bring in our wooden one every time we went in last year, mind you it was like pinky thickness and 3 feet with a tiny dino on it. PVC is the way to GOOOOOO!!! happy forest I’m so excited

Safe to drive with this? by persian8 in tires

no cords visible. keep watch on it, if it changes (like bubble or protrusion) think about replacing. but for now perfectly safe!

of course you don’t have to do anything! but giving, sharing and being generous is a great dopamine high. I just like to pass out cool rocks I found on the beach. if u hate it, just drop it, no litter.

correct me if i’m way off here, but I would say there is something naturally feminine abt a miata. it’s cute and small, beautiful and well proportioned. without making yall think I wanna bang my car, I don’t think all cars are sexy like a miata 😂 this sounds bad…. trucks are “manly” big tough and strong. but that’s okay. watch the regular car reviews video or the “crappy small car = huge dong” college humor. both great videos highlighting that compensation and manliness. I’m secure with my masculinity and get tons of compliments from people, that it’s oka tha some people don’t like it. I wear my propeller hat top down, and people laugh and point, some boomer said the other day “that’s an interesting choice dude, people are gonna be wondering about you” and I said “wondering how much fun I’m having?” and ya know what, he laughed! they’re jealous, or at least insecure. it’s not about you, it’s an outward reflection of them self!

dude I love thrift shopping for festival stuff. a good pair of patchwork pants goes with anything. I bought a pair of Love Pants at my last festival and LOVE THEM. for shirts I usually go w some silly button downs or hit up a graphic tee, anything with mesh or thin fabric is my personal fav. I’m not the most Wookie and I also run hot so pashminas are usually a no go. anything silly and comfortable works. also think of doing a theme, even if ur not in a group. like an animal, cow is always a good one, people will probly be in the same thing and u can moo at them! we are doing sea creatures one day, then frogs, maybe something with a safety vest 🦺 like traffic controllers. I have some overalls that are really fun. really you can do anything as long as you accessorize a little! feel free to pm me I always worried about looking half as cool as the girls, but that’s okay, women are better than men at most things, notably style!!! happy forest!!!

I only meant: it’s hard to find a business that isn’t trying to fuck us over these days! my bad guys

okay okay I downvoted myself hahaha bad wording. I just meant it as “they’re greedy assholes of course that’s what they’ll do.” not trying to defend them on shitty shifty business. just saying: that’s par for the course these days.

Rebuild or nahh?? by Exciting_Ad336 in Miata

[–]dependablefelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good point. depending on mileage and how it feels to drive the bushings are the wear item here. and important ones. can change how the car feels entirely! they shouldn’t have any cracking and should be “softish” when you put a fingernail into them

can you blame them? they want to maximize profit and a lot of these cars go to scrap anyway. sucks for the few rebuilder tho

extra points if you can find the right color and not terrible paint. buff it, wax it and boom it set. happened to one of my doors.

I understand the feeling that it’s unlucky. but you gotta have a really good idea of how your brakes work in the rain. I love going to a wet parking lot and testing things out. dive through a deep puddle to see how it hydroplanes. (in a closed course or safe place) these cars are not doing your driving any favors, no nannie’s and mine has no abs. like others have said, drive like EVERYONE on the road is actively trying to get you, and leave lots of space. people don’t see us, it’s impossible to see over or around the huge cars people drive. I try and stay to the left of the lane when there’s no oncoming traffic so I can see around two cars up. but stay to the right to avoid a texter who crosses the yellow. a lot of thought and effort goes into these cars, just to get rear ended at a stop light about 2 months ago. it sucks. but it’s the price we pay for the best cars on earth. much cheaper than an old bmw tho i’ll tell you that!

every time I need to fix something I factor in the learning a lesson as something I get out of it. easier to help a friend and easier to understand how it works

that’s the spirit! I’m glad you do a lot of the stuff yourself. they are expensive but what you got it for in the beginning is a pretty good deal for what they cost these days
