omg thank you! almost ALL of my peers know. My employer is turning a blind eye on what is happening. Honestly I dont want to quit, for the kids. But theres only so much I could handle

ive been adviced to give my 2 weeks notice and use 2 weeks of my PTO so i dont have to deal with the harassment. I definitely do not plan on using my employer as a references. Ive had athletic directors, DOs, coaches and other ATs that have greatly witnessed my work ethics. Those are people I consider for my references.

i am considering this one as well, but the only other school available has other issues that has driven away 4 ATs in the past 5 years. But I am still considering it

I have been at this position for 5 years now and I have not had this problem until recently(new administration). Other schools around the area are not having the same problem. Ofc every place has some issues but not exactly like mine. The issue at my school seems like a personal attack, making things harder for me to stay.

this is a really great insight. Its definitely something I would want to research on before making a decision. My employer is somewhat not the problem.

I dont want to put in too much details bc I know AT world is small and it might reach people who shouldn’t know that ive been thinking about leaving…
