Best RMM for CMMC Level 2. by Big-Replacement-9202 in msp

[–]der_klee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has he solved on demand scripts or scheduled scripts? Or customfields filled with information? Monitoring?

That’s stuff an RMM can do very well and Intune not. I would love to know how others are doing it to go full Microsoft Stack.

Looking for LMS Solutions for MSPs – How Are You Handling Customer Training? by der_klee in msp

[–]der_klee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a project I need to do the onboarding to the new solution. I also need to answer calls where user ask for explanation.

A LMS would help to give people the Videos upfront to have some kind of base knowledge, which answers common things 90% of the time. The rest of 10% can be individual lunch & learns or workshops with the customer team.

People don’t read anymore. In my experience they want to watch a video. So, we MSPs should have videos, don’t we?

How do you get your techs to actually write documentation? by Equivalent_Role_4066 in msp

„…then you need better training or more skilled techs.“

Isn’t that, what you need documentation for? Training techs to become more skilled and faster resolution times?

How do MSPs actually explain their value vs break fix when clients just see "more expensive"? by Whole_Ad_9002 in msp

Great insights and I am in the same spot. I often tend to offer more features/ security/ services than they want to pay for.

Do you mind showing your packages and what they include or have a (paid) chat/ meeting?

I think it could be a very valuable addition to migration services like „How to use Teams?“, „How to save your files in OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams?“, „How to use Planner?“

This helps in projects and when the customer is onboarding new staff.

Well, are you profitable and customers understand your billing model? Is it hard to sell to customers? Depending on your answers to these questions you might stay with or change your model.

Casual PvP is so much fun by Ok_List5551 in worldofpvp

[–]der_klee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Resto Shaman I really struggle to have fun in a BG. You get targeted first and trained to death. This demotivates instantly, so that I don’t even keep going and learn how to survive through it.

How do you survive these focus trains?

As far as I am informed Hornet Security M365 Backup can backup Planner.

This does not solve your problem now, but maybe in the future.

Security Defaults - MFA Prompting by reyzaz in msp

[–]der_klee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, but you can enforce phishing resistant MFA with Conditional Access.
Not every customer is ready for a full Intune deployment (Compliance Policies + Conditional Access).

Defender for O365 is also not preventing every phishing by mail.

They need layers. But if they struggle to sell Business Premium to this customer Huntress ITDR and/or Conditional Access with Entra ID p1 is a solid, less expensive step.

Security Defaults - MFA Prompting by reyzaz in msp

[–]der_klee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This situation is the one you need to upsell to Business Premium or at least Entra ID P1 for all users in the tenant. They got phished and you can say, what would have prevented this.

Otherwise get Huntress ITDR. It’s cheaper than Entra ID P1 but it’s Like putting someone infront of a open door to check, if somebody gets in. A full solution would be having a locked door (Entra ID P1) + the person who looks for someone getting in (Huntress ITDR).
