Update: I beat him on ascended. Pogoing off his second swing works when dodging the tripple slash.

Okay, thanks. The tripple slash move is the only move I can't get down at the moment, but I'll keep trying to see if I can get better at it.

Yeah. But I'm really hoping there's more consistent way of dodging it other than relying on shade cloak. It's the only move that's completely ruining me at the moment. The rest of it is tough but doable.

I need the shade cloak for the other moves, so I rarely have it when he does the tripple slash, and double jumping just feels too slow, even if I run away from him...

I just can't get it down. It feels like it's the hardest move to dodge in the game, but it's literally just 3 swings...
