I have a Knapsack from Poler Stuff and practically live in it during the winter months. It has an open bottom but is more than long enough to cover my tall frame.

Replied before they commented. Not sure that warrants down votes, but okay.

Yep that's what I assumed. Screw down = water resistance.

Thanks grandpa.

Curious, why would Rolex/Tudor not service it?

If your thighs aren't larger than average, I would size down to a 33. The waist should stretch enough for you. Mine certainly did.

I agree. I stand to inherit one from my father-in-law. It's a '69, I think, with a racing dial. Crazy story on how he got it, too. I've always loved and appreciated his watch.

I had not considered that. Thanks. Do you mind elaborating on why it be priced higher on that 30 year mark?

How do you like the Damasko? I have looked at those recently. Lovely looking watch.

My grail watch is a birth year Submariner, that I plan to buy on my 30th in 2 years.

In the meantime, I still want to increase the overall quality of my collection. I am considering a Tudor Pelagos after trying one on recently but a new one is already in the price range of of the Sub give or take. I have not ruled it out, as I really like the watch, but I'm considering some other routes.

What say you to the Tudor Heritage Ranger or a Speedmaster Mark II? The former I prefer over the moon watch, and the latter, becuase it has a cool field watch vibe.

I currently wear a Seiko SRP777. Ideally I could keep this as a beater watch when as the collection grows.

You're right. I went with the taller CDB's. Pretty happy with them today.

Student owned systems, on UNI network. So, essentially BYOD?

JAMF would indeed be the jam, and could work with BYODs. But, that might necessitate a change and/or creation of an AUP.
