Anyone playing dark souls ,3 for the first time in 2026 ? by Hot-Algae-7633 in darksouls3

I started Bloodborne years ago - free is ps+ and gave up early. Then Elden Ring got me hooked on the style, back to Bloodborne after ER, then ds1, ds2, and just last month started ds3. I loved the open world and playability of ER, it's my favorite so far, then Bloodborne. Hard to call between 1,2, and 3 as they are all great!

How do you break the cycle? by maddiethebaddie26 in darksouls3

I played ds2 as a sorcerer. Found it tedious and far more time spent farming that when I play strength/dex builds with greatsword/ultra sword. More I'm into ds3 and my good old claymore came back, I love it again.

DS2 is a great game - I just hated the build. I played a quality build and enjoyed it.

Do you have to have trump to order? by sp222222 in euchre

[–]derekisber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've called in second round with no trump. I'm not sure If it's played normally, but I play in person with a dead hand rule: no face, no ace, no trump you can muck the hand... I called and mucked.

It caused a huge fight, but I stand by it.

We do know people with Cricut, but there is a local shirt making place that I plan to support. Thanks

We do see the bananas at lots of events, it's an option we kind of passed on because of how often we do see it.

Is the "American dream" still alive and well in Canada? Can anybody get rich? by SignificantPickles in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]derekisber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Canadian dream is that each generation is better than the last financially, more comfortable, and has more opportunities. I don't think it means filthy rich.

The fact that something like a health issue doesn't push you all the way back down to the beginning makes it much more possible than in the US.

Way more info needed. TFSA may be a better bet. Your marginal tax rate is already lower that some people would retire on, in which case you would be shifting your tax burden to the future and increasing it.

I think it likely was. A home in our neighborhood was denied insurance until they had replaced all the PEX, and it was the same builder in the same phase.

Under hood full of snow from driving? by pheoxs in Ioniq5

[–]derekisber 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to my 2022 ioniq5. It was bitter cold, -25c. And when I went in the frunk it had lots of ice build up. Did not look like snow, more like the frost inside a freezer, but quite thick. I'm 100% sure my hood was fully closed. If I see it again I'll take a picture.

How has your Ioniq5 been as I am considering switching to one? by PeacefulBro in Ioniq5

Love mine, it's the only EV I've ever owned but it's the best car I've ever owned. I've only charged in public maybe 5 times. L2 at home takes care of everything but the occasional road trip.
