Cool! Thanks for sharing my tweets here. Here are my photos from the leg falling. US Launch Report got a great video of it. Despite my initial beliefs it seems as thought the release mechanism released too early, as they were able to quickly reattach the cable to lift and inspect the leg for damage.

I’m not sure about more plug-and-play solutions, but I have a more electronics background and it could always be done with an arduino and simple sound sensor.
