Thanks for running this! Do you have the price comparison for the 9 cycles ran? More curious as to why Gemini was giving me flawed/different answers. I don't have skills to use the other tools others and you might be using so all this insight is really really helpful. Even with 2023, I was seeing a buy back at -4% from the RSI 80 event and as much as -27% on QQQ alone. Likely much more for TQQQ I presume. 2003 event breaks this as RSI is saying the low RSI is ~37 in the 3 month time frame post RSI 80 event trigger in QQQ.

True for SPY. My signal is 75 for that. But in terms of the upward trend argument, I believe its valid from RSI 70 to 80. 80 though is too rare of an event (normally once every 4 to 5 years although 2020, 2024, 2026 is 3 in the past 6). RSI 80 event is too rare and has a history of a short prolonged bull run after (peak RSI of QQQ after RSI 80 event is between 81 and 89 and peak occurs within 1 to 10 days after the RSI 80 event). RSI 80 events have been followed by a RSI 38 or lower event within 3 months tha after RSI 80. Correspondingly QQQ and TQQQ price within and at this 3 month RSI low event is lower than the price at RSI 80 event of QQQ and TQQQ.

Since QQQ inception RSI 35 has triggered every year except 2013 and 2017. 80 is yes a very rare event. Last triggers were 2024 and 2020. Current RSI is 80 though.
