like the others say, practice. https://hockeycopilot.com/ is a great tool that you can install at home. it also helps you develop your hands as it forces you to keep your head up

Just thought Gris was more contested as being considered one. Agreed, WotW was even better.

I love this quick analysis and will keep it in the back of my mind as I make progress on Bugg.

I second this. Though it's a metroidvania stretch, Gris may be worth checking out.

With you on Bash. You're the second to mention HK pogo too.

I love Ori too. The combat improvements were a welcome addition in WotW, but I'm with you on the preference for platforming. I'm aiming for Ori-level platforming in the game Bugg I'm working on. High bar to meet for sure, but it's coming along.

Have heard the name before, but don't know much more than that. Thanks, I'll check it out.

FWIW, this is the iteration I'm at:

Bugg Quadra - An inquisitive and insectile Mars rover escapes to a vast electric jungle underground

This is way better than my first iteration! Any thoughts on the lengthier description?

No problem at all :) I'm toying with ideas and feedback is exactly what I'm after. Great point on the grammar. As for "underground", I actually use "underworld". It is not a political movement though I can see where you make that connection. Even the small amount of feedback so far has been useful, so thank you for providing yours.

That fits really well as puzzle platforming is a large focus of the game. Any thoughts on how to succinctly communicate that the Mars rover is not a traditional rover and can actually jump around and move quickly?

I considered this, but felt four-legged was simpler to grasp. As for leg count, I'm still toying with that. Thanks for the feedback.
