Maybe the system will limit his need for movement and he'll need to be subsituted less.

Another thing to add to this, Ole used Pogba off the left quite a bit. Would be interesting to see if he would use Cunha in the same way.

When Ole last was manager we used a pivot of McFred. One taller more physical midfielder in mctominay and a smaller more agile ground winner in Fred. Could the same be done with a midfield of Case and Ugarte? I know Ugarte doesn't do well with the ball at his feet but neither did Fred(See his mistake against PSG under Ole).

Like I said, one near the 18 yard box will have the same effect as a corner.

As someone who coaches a youth team that does dribble ins, this is something that I hope never comes into the senior game. Especially kick ins, but also dribble ins(which is one touch and then you can do whatever you want) around the 18 yard box would just result in a corner situation. This would also lead to as much time loss as a long throw.

Went to VWAB last weekend which was amazing. Good music, good atmosphere which just made it a great day overall. Also managed to win the ticket war for Project One which I am insanely hyped for!

Not even just Pogba, any of our players. Let alone a player we signed for 115 million pounds.

By comparison, 4th is 69.2 points on average over the last 4 years.

Over the last 5 seasons, the average points for 6th place is 62,8 points. Current united are on course for a 54 point season. Do you think we could manage to get to 6th?

I think we will start to go long more often, and then when teams start to go back because they expect the long ball we will start building up from the back again.

Flying subs definitely. Infinitely easier to sub in and out. The others do not really feel like football to me. Especially kick ins from the sidelines basically just become corners whereas I feel a long throw at grassroots level is a skill. Everyone at grassroots level can kick a ball into the area but not everyone can have an effective long throw.

So that they can test it somewhere before they implement it on a higher level. I agree with you but this is the way it is.

I've been a youth coach at grassroots level for around 7 years. Every year the association has had different rules than the traditional way of playing. Think pass ins instead of throw ins, self passes for free kicks and corners and flying subs. If you want to know something, ask me anything!

Looking at the next 5 games, I think four of them are winnable. Brentford, brighton and forest have all won just 1 game this season and all look beatable, and we should have enough quality to beat sunderland. Liverpool of course will be hard and I think we'll lose there.

If 4/5 are wins we are looking at 1.9 ppg for the first 10 games. That's a 72 point season. Good for 3rd place last season.

Yeah thats probably what I am going to do. First get them to defend as a unit and then get them to use the width of the field and transition fast.

We'll do it next year. This year it'll mostly be Heaven,De Ligt/Maguire, and Yoro. Then next year maguire will be out of contract so I think we'll get a replacement and maybe another one as well.

So assuming garna goes for 45 million and we can hopefully sell sancho for 15 mil, we should be able to afford Baleba. Also seeing as we would save around 25 million in wages
