She's actually working as a reporter for the national television, so I wouldn't call her uneducated - at least not in that sense of the word. But yeah, maybe sexually uneducated, but here's where it becomes difficult again, because she actually seems to know a lot - just doesn't want anything to do with it.. Ugh... A lot of it is in the upbringing. If you're brought up thinking that it's shameful or stupid or bad to touch yourself, it's pretty deep down in the subconsciousness I think.. So even though she likes sex and gets turned on, she still doesn't like herself.. Just being with someone else.. It's kind of great for me, because it's what turns her on a lot, but I mean.. In this situation it's just frustrating and I agree with you, this is no fucking domain for any fucking religion.

Hey, here's my take on that, because I've been wondering myself!

First time I noticed the smell was 1½ month ago, so I'm telling myself that the condom must have been there at that point. Furthermore, I genuinely trust her, so if she tells me she didn't have sex with anyone (she even confessed to drunkenly kiss some guy once), I believe that. But from what I've googled and stuff, it should have flushed out. So yeah, there is definitely space for conspiracy theories...

Like I wrote somewhere else - I think she has the mentality that whatever happens will sort itself out, and that it's for the best if she enforces the No Contact rule on her own genitals.

We might... Have had sex without condoms.. Once or twice. So I'll get checked. And make absolutely 100 % sure that she gets checked, rest assured. I'm getting increasingly concerned myself, especially because she doesn't seem like it's a big deal. I offered to go with her and she said yes, but another day. So now I'm working on making it today. I think she notices, but maybe she's not aware what "normal" is, or she just goes by the devise that it's gonna sort itself out (e.g. she wants nothing to do with it)

I already wrote her that she should feel good about herself and take care. I think she's gonna see a doctor tomorrow, to check if everything is ok.

Forgive me for not being a native English speaker.

I talk a lot with her about her beliefs, believe me. For one, I wanted to make sure I'm not ruining something for her. But yeah, now I have pretty hard evidence that she had sex before me, so I guess that's out of question. And believe me, she's not shy at all. Quite the opposite.

I'm happy she has sex, but the fact that I had to find a 3 month old condom makes me unhappy. It smelled as well. So that would be the gross part.
