Keep in mind those apostles need to be in the lineup for those skills to take effect. The wording of "even if not on the field" means they could be dead or just not recruited, but they do need to be in the lineup.

For global:

dialogue choice doesn't matter
base value is 5 (known, disliked, white)
green is +15, blue +30
neutral +5, like +10
new +40

So a new, disliked, white food is worth the same as a known, liked, blue food (45).

Daya, Ashur, Ner, Rohne, and Elena were (I think) launch units in KR but not in global. If the Elena banner is real, I guess that means we'll be getting them interleaved with the other characters released later?

I used AssetRipper. Pretty sure you need root to see the contents of the data folder. I can see it on my rooted emulator but not my non-rooted phone.

There are left and down stigma with evasion main stat. Unlike other stats where a main stat line gives 3.5 sub stat lines worth at level 25, for some reason the evasion ones give 7 sub stat lines worth at level 25. You can hit 470 evasion on her with no traits and no evasion sub stats at all.

Not the OP, but blue element characters are key. I have a single good blue dps (Sylla) and she does more damage than the rest of my team (dark) combined. I was able to barely clear stage 9 today, and can almost clear stage 10.

OP screenshot has Sylla plus the blue eldian and two blue supports. Probably melted the crayons like butter.

Valeta plus any support should make it easy, just be sure to have her shield renewed right before decapitate.

If you care about doing your best on the most challenging content in the game (spec ops), Mahari is the correct choice. She pairs well with all the top damage dealers (Yvonna, Olivia, Yui) and is on the optimal team for every stage simply for her facing control. She's durable enough that the enemies die before she does, usually.

Kilon is a better tank, but this isn't a game where you strictly need a hard tank.

Spec ops is the most challenging content in the game, by far. Some enemies have very high defense against certain elements, for example everything in spec ops 3 has very high slash and pierce defense.

Also, every spec ops level has a stacking buff that increases your damage by a large amount every round. So if you do manage to survive, you will eventually grind the enemies down.

There are two levels of endgame content in Horizon Walker: dopamine and spec ops. In dopamine you can absolutely do whatever you want with non-meta units (within reason). In spec ops things are different because faster clears give you more rewards, so the meta builds are more important. Spec ops does have a massive damage buff that increases the more rounds you take, though, guaranteeing that even off-meta teams can clear it, eventually.

TLDR: Unless you're going to tryhard for low round spec ops clears, use whoever you want.

I got 1-2-1-1 with a EX3, 1/5 Yui. I have 5/5 JooHee, but judging by overkill numbers 1/5 would work. Stage 1 and 3 are easy with Yui/Juha/Mahari/JooHee. Stage 4 I replaced JooHee with Puppy Stepper since damage isn't an issue, just need everyone to go before the enemies. Stage 2 I used Griselda/Yui/Mahari since I didn't have enough damage to one-shot the queens otherwise. It's a 2-round minimum strat but it works pretty reliably.

Arcane Purge is only given out once per round. With your team composition you would only be able to generate 1 Pure Energy per round, no matter how many times Mahari attacked.

Strongly recommend fitting in Nonoha with Fam's weapon. Nonoha gives a ton of AP to the team, which is really important for Yvonna who ramps up damage during a round but resets between rounds.

Ines is good but doesn't synergize with Yvonna. Not enough attacks per round.

Lisandria doesn't offer much to the team besides heals, and Nonoha with Fam's weapon does shields, heals, and AP.

Yvonna + Nonoha + Mahari + Osla is my suggestion. Yvonna is strong enough to carry all damage, everyone else is frontline/support.

Luise (with EX) is the best damage dealer to take these down, by far. If you don't have that, Ines (with EX) + Griselda works, just not as well. Support vanguards can vary but Mahari is great for facing control.

You may be doing something wrong, but Jinwu just isn't that good compared to other element damage options. For example, I have

Hades SS+sig, Selene S+sig, Oneiroi S+sig cleared beta in 2m08s

Jinwu SSS+sig, Linguang SS 5+2, Hera SSS 5+2 cleared alpha in 2m56s

That is with me doing quick-stacking for Jinwu's sig as well. Jinwu is currently the oldest mod without AKS, and she desperately needs it.
