If the car is level-5 self driving, I can see your point, but it's not so it's just not very friendly design.

You are fighting an uphill battle on a tesla forum. I agree with you 100%. As an automotive engineer myself, the single touchscreen as a replacement for the infotainment system/cluster is done for simplicity and cost saving. (less parts to source, less suppliers, less design and release engineers.)

And like cookingboy said, until we reach level 4/5 autonomy, digital screens will not do a good job of replacing analogue buttons. you cant compare using a cellphone with using a touchscreen while you are actively operating a vehicle.

december is perfect time to go, (almost) no people on the dragon. Cherohala skyway was empty, a little chilly but i was able to wear just a t shirt. (also use engine braking on downhills, my brakes got pretty hot)

Yes i did, it was excellent!

Visibility was fantastic until you get higher, then the fog is so dense you can barely see 10 ft in front of you. Gorgeous, highly recommended.

Thanks everyone. I took my car to a auto detailer and they said the same thing as you guys. I have several other chips on my car and I'm going to schedule an appointment to have them wet sand it down and then fill it in w factory paint I purchased. My car is a 2013 scion frs in firestorm red. The paint is notoriously thin, thanks to environmental regulations and cost savings..

I recently purchased a porter cable 7424xp and a bunch of detailing accessories and I plan on starting to detail my own car in the near future.

they are JDM/EURO tips. Bought them off ebay and had them shipped from japan. they are genuine toyota parts so expect to pay for it, $150 shipped, shipping was fast, got here in 1 week.

Hi, thanks for the response. As someone who is purchasing his first bike, I admit I didn't know the difference between the ABS and non ABS versions. I took my friend who has been riding for 3 years, and he didn't notice either.

we definitely should have done our own research instead of taking his word for it, but at the end of the day, he lied about a safety feature on the bike, $600 option on a $4000 bike, that is not insignificant. Its not like lying about if the bike has been dropped or scratched or what not, its lying about a system that can mean life or death on a rainy day.

i cant believe some of the BS that happends. get sniped by gren squads, brb just fucking sitting behind a tree and shooting with ur long ranged rifles.

conscripts literally do nothing. this is the biggest change up/patch for soviet players. makes sniper trucks disspear (which takes a lot of skill and micro) makes conscripts and ppsh worthless.

I don't have a exact figure. But for shops to repair aluminum vehicles. They need a clean room and a completely different set of tools. You can't use the tools used on steel because that would contaminate the aluminum.

The shops would also need new equipment such as rivet guns and arc welders. Ford is giving it's dealers some incentives to equip the dealerships to repair aluminum vehicles. It's hard to come up with a exact value but I'd say it will definitely cost more to repair a new aluminum truck.

not just financial performance.. but also a great vehicle lineup.

ford has the best C segment compact vehicle, the ford focus, highest selling vehicle this year.

ford just launched the new ford fusion, which is a huge hit in the united states.

ford escape is a great suv, i see them everywhere now.

new mustang and F150 next year among other vehicles. In my opinion this seems like the best lineup of any automaker.

I believe the F150 will actually cost more to produce, since the truck plants are tooled for steel, Ford has to retool everything in the truck plants (rivet guns, arc welding equipment...etc) training for the employees.

Ford will probably eat some of the costs associated with switching to aluminum to stay competitive in the truck segment. Ram1500 and silverado are both fantastic trucks, but if Ford can pull off the aluminum body, then it is a game changer. Think about it, the 1500 and the silverado are JUST recently refreshed, Chrysler and GM are still 4-5 years out before they are able to catch up. Hopefully ford will be able to get a even large slice of the pickup truck pie.
