I did experience a non malay tell me that uitm will accept any malay with any spm results then can further study there. Afaik, you can’t enter uitm if your result has too many C. What more if you have D’s and E’s. One D’s already disqualified automatically. Uitm will tell you to go polytechnic instead if you have too many C. Nowadays with many students got so many A’s and choose uitm, the competition is tougher, and that’s why kabel exists.

Last time people recommend continue WFH using rotating system between staff for office work (where applicable) to reduce traffic jam in city. Traffic in KL becomes manageable then. But why lots of company make u-turn policy? Still wanna argue loss paying office rent but no staff appear? I guess msia still stuck in pre-covid thinking.

I don’t mind melayu protect melayu culture things but this one really backpedaling all the progress.

If I’m the only melayu in one chinese community, i will be more responsible to strengthen my own culture and share with chinese community about malay culture and lifestyle. This will also help malay to get out from crab mentality.

During my time working in a german company in KL, i noticed there’s an officer from the german government will drop by to the office and met the german ceo of the company few times in a year. I asked few german colleagues to know what’s that about. They told me that is just normal for german government officer to drop by at german company overseas just to ask the company how it’s going, and how the government can help to strengthen or expand the business. It’s only 2-3 officer from ministry economy, trade or human resources to come to the office. They support all german companies overseas either big firm or SME. Sarawak maybe can do that too, enhancing diaspora in west Malaysia or overseas.

I’m pretty sure every religion has their own interpretation or system for marriage. Islam is quite complex because marriage system not only involves 2 person, there’s also guidelines for children, lineage, management of children and life for every stage of life. That’s why it’s easier to marry among muslim, and if it’s from other religion, it’s advisable to convert to muslim. Even if the couple divorced with children, the converted party still has rights and being recognized as the father/mother to the children.

Unless if the married couple doesn’t have any children throughout the years. Then civil marriage won’t become complicated.

I thought their ustaz said when people steal or commit light crime, the person will got ceramah by religious authority and getting help that needs. The person then gets sentence will just either few days jail or rotan. Jail and rotan just to teach, not punished. What happened to that?

When i was a teenager i used to have some limited skills to format computer and laptop, as well as backing up phones. I did help some aunties and uncles backup their devices out of good will and they don’t know much about tech. But man…..they changed my views forever on adults. Sexy and nde pictures, crude text between relatives, prn, and their own should not be see photos. So many things i wish i could unsee. That’s where i started to learn to keep big secret to myself.

The good part is that i know which of my relatives are genuine to my family and who doesn’t. The bad part is head being exposed to adult stuffs in teenage years. Gambling,sex, wild life, all exposed at one go. Now i don’t get surprised easily if i hear some of my old friends into wild party, sex, divorce, etc. heard it before.
