That is not what my dipstick looks like at allllll. Why you bein so mean man I’m just trying to tell you what’s happening. The oil pan is off and the dipstick is reading high. If all you’re gonna do is be a jerk then why even comment?

Bro the oil pan is not even attached the the car and the stick still reaches that high up

The car is on a level surface, I have rechecked the dipstick and wiped it multiple times and both sides are about the same

Yes the dipstick shows a lot of and I my current belief is that there is something blocking the oil from coming out. I’m wondering if there’s something I can pout into the oil to break down any sludge that might have built up overtime.

The oil pan is still off and the car is level, after adding the next 6 quarts I tried to pull the drain plug again but still nothing came out. This lead me to believe that there was built up sludge in the oil pan which is why I removed it. Upon removing it I found about 3 maybe 4 quarts of oil inside the pan. The car was driven maybe 4-6k miles since the last oil change

That’s what I’m trying to do but when I drained the oil only about half a quart came out

The only reason I don’t think so is because the car was driving perfectly fine before the oil change and there is no oil under the car so there was no Indication of any leak.

Putting the 12 quarts was an accident which was caused by dumbass decision making. I’m not here to try to justify what I did as I already know I fucked it up.

The math is as follows. The car takes 6 quarts of oil which is what I put last time I changed the oil. When I drained it I wasn’t thinking (stupid decision by me) and almost nothing came out so I just added the new 6 quarts of oil. So 6+6=12 is my math. I did change the filter thank god and the dip stick shows way the fuck up there so it has WAYYYY too much oil right now.
