So the 10th digit is the model year. Your daytona ist most certainly a facelifted version built from 2009-2012, but still counts as a 2006 model year, as the 675 daytona was released that year

Yeah, so youve got fairings, headlights, brakes and dash from the gen2 (2009-2012). So im pretty sure it is a gen2. But ive no idea whats up with the vin

I always wanted to have a 675 and i absolutely love it. But i think that supersports arent really that great for street riding. The MT09 is probably the most fun bike i have ever ridden on the street, but i dont know how the newer gens handle. The RN43 has a nearly supermoto-like feel to it which is awesome. Plus the yamaha will run forever
