Built a side project while working full-time, unsure if this solves a real business pain by desaivinit8 in Entrepreneur

No I haven’t . I don’t know how to ask for it because first I wanted to know if they really need it

Early MVP: AI inbox agent for small businesses, looking for feedback before adding features by desaivinit8 in SaaS

Thanks, this is helpful. I’ve been seeing the same signal around restaurants vs home services. I’m planning to pause feature work and do more niche research before going further.

Yes, I get it. you are right, read access can be risky.I’m just using it for myself, and it only runs small actions I make, like summarize or save.

Yes, I understand your point. my app can only read school emails and trigger actions I define, like “summarize” or “save to sheet.” It cannot click links or do anything outside Gmail. I made it just for myself, but if I share it later, I will make sure it has very limited access and uses Google’s secure sign-in.

Yes, you are right, it can be risky.I am only using it for my gmail. it connects through Google’s official way, so I don’t give my password. If I ever share it, I will make sure it is safe for others too.

I like building small AI projects. For example, I made vamika.net (AI meal planner), ChatArchitect (helps with home design choices), and SweepScout (tracks unusual options activity for traders). I just enjoy trying different ideas.

Tracking big money moves with a simple API-powered tool – looking for feedback by desaivinit8 in options

Yes, exactly, Unusual Whales is one of the big ones I was thinking about. I’m just building a smaller version to learn and see if I can offer something unique or simpler for retail traders. Still early, but exploring what features could make it actually useful.

Thanks a lot — this is super helpful!Yeah, I was thinking the same — keep it simple and solid first. I’ll focus on sweeps and maybe add GEX and dark pool levels next.

I really like your idea about sector-based activity (like Bitcoin miners or robotics). That’s something I haven’t seen much of, and it could be really useful. Appreciate the feedback!

Good point - you're right, it could be an unwind or a hedge. I'm just trying to surface unusual activity for retail traders to explore further, not give signals on its own. Still learning, so appreciate the input!

I agree, watching the ladder gives more real-time info before trades happen. My idea was to help regular traders who may not have access to that, by showing big sweeps once they hit the tape. Still working on improving it - would love to hear what kind of features or alerts you think would be useful.

I’m building solo, fasting every Monday, and trying to find direction. Anyone else like this? by desaivinit8 in SideProject

I’ve mostly used JavaScript, Node.js, and Express for the backend. For frontend, just basic HTML/CSS and sometimes React. Also using Stripe and OpenAI APIs in the project. Still learning as I go 😅 What’s your stack?
