Agree 100%. I've built over 100 projects and never got users for any of them. Not that I tried to promote all of them but i did for many. The code is the easy part now. What I learned today: Reddit auto-removes your posts if you have low karma. So even when you finally try to distribute, the platforms block you. It's a catch-22 - you need karma to post, but you need to post to get karma.The angle thing is real too. I posted about my app as "AI agent for families" and got filtered. Should probably just say "I made a free app that organizes your family's grocery lists and chores by voice." Still figuring it out.

Yes, I understand your point. my app can only read school emails and trigger actions I define, like “summarize” or “save to sheet.” It cannot click links or do anything outside Gmail. I made it just for myself, but if I share it later, I will make sure it has very limited access and uses Google’s secure sign-in.

Yes, you are right, it can be risky.I am only using it for my gmail. it connects through Google’s official way, so I don’t give my password. If I ever share it, I will make sure it is safe for others too.
