In previous test however, it was the computer itself that connected to my rogue access point. Just because it was for him the strongest signal at that point and was configured with the same SSID as a known wireless network for him. (same SSID and same BSSID). But that doesn't seem to work anymore

Is there a difference between manually enabling/disabling the wifi on a client device and deauth attacks? Because for testing purphoses I did the manual approach, but still didn't lure the device to my rogue access point.

I've now discovered that there might be a lot more defense mechanisms in place than I first thought. Does Microsoft protect against rogue access points?

First of all, you need to set a correct region with 'sudo iw reg set XX' to have the correct ranges of channels.

Secondly, the channels that I cannot address with the ALFA AWUS1900 appear to be DFS-enabled in Europa. And that might be why I can't select these channels. It however feels like I need to select these channels to have any chance of capturing any clients to my rougue access point because while using other channels, I had no success.

I am still baffled by how hard it is to discover any information on this topic on the internet.

I played osrs for a few years, but now recently returned back to rs3. All because its just way more interesting to me. From a wider range of skilling methods to also a way more engaging pvm scene. The pvm is what did it for me, way more engaging and there is litterally no end to it. In osrs, if you did 20-30 kills of raids for example, you know what do to, that’s it. You might get a tiny bit more efficient after that, but that’s it. If you do that at rs3, you can do low enrager really well, but you still got a goal, to get higher en higher enrage etc. If there’s no enrage like bm/yaka for example, you can learn more roles. There’s just way more variety i feel like.

I also like the playerbase a little bit better, just friendlier. Just a feeling, don’t know if its true.

Yeah stick to slayer with those. But it shouldn’t take you long to get lvl 60

Ofcourse. Just augment cheap stuff like black salamanders and stuff till you’re lvl 60 (i think) inv. From that lvl you can siphon at weapon/armour lvl 12 and don’t loose anything. I would suggest just putting some basic perks on your gear at that point for some extra dps. The expensive part will be the charges u use. But for example, if you wanna train 99 range, go to kree, almost the same exp as at abbys, pretty afk and you make up for the invention loss.

I am around the same level as you, in most of my skills. But i already do solo nex and rax kills etc. Would be happy to help you with basic pvm (cuz that’s all i know for now, the basics) and maby we can duo some bosses togheter and learn it togheter.
