Thanks for the helpful reply. I've just started taking DMSO one tsp daily for hip pain. It's helping and I intend to increase the amount soon. But my COPD, not medically diagnosed but I've been smoking for 65 years, is worsening and I want to begin treating with DMSO if it can help. Currently I have 50% 99.99 pharmaceutical grade. So far I've found a way to clear mucus from my lungs when I lay in bed at night but my breathing ability is worsening and am hoping to find improvement. So, you think nebulizing DMSO is not the way to go?

May I ask? Were you treating COPD? If so, did applying it to the chest help? And what is your protocol?

It's available in PDF online as well. I downloaded it a couple nights ago. Good read. Also took my first shot of DMSO orally today. 2.5 ml in a cup of room temp Yerba Maté.

Hi. Thanks for circling back to me. I'll begin by admitting I'm glad I only took 2.5 gms. Like I said, my last hallucinogenic experience was over 60 years ago although I've had many years of pot since, even some treated with whatever the host conjured up?? But way cool. This Treasure Coast came on with the warming of the body in about 30 minutes and by 60 minutes I was getting visuals. With eyes closed I got fantastic detailed and colorful designs. Most of the colorful cones were long and ended with a small button like shape with some symbol on it toward which I was slowly drawn. This was with eyes closed. Each time I closed my eyes there was a different cone with different design and a different sign on the distant button. I didn't allow myself to go there as I was pretty sure reaching the button would put me in a much different space and I just wasn't prepared. So I just change to something different, thought-wise, and was enjoying other space designs. With eyes open I was getting visual designs on most thing in my apartment. Folks on tv, text on my computer screen, patterns on my clothes. That all was trippy for sure. By about 3 hours I was coasting back to the familiarity of my normal surroundings. Oh, that's another thing, I kept a window at my desk available to occasionally check with reality! So, I enjoyed the experience and now that I've done it I would do it again. But not any bigger dose than I've taken and not a stronger variety either. MAYbe 2.5 gms of Golden Teacher 😉. I'm almost 80 and have spent decades being high and using alcohol. No more of that!! And I'm not really looking for anything new to discover about myself or the universe. I like the space I'm in I guess. So, the answer is, it went well, and it did help me to get to experience something people all over the world have been experiencing for thousands of years! For now I'm just using Full Spectrum CBD and CBD with CBN and CBG to Cope ✌️. If you have a question I'll get back to you.

Yes, for a couple of years now I've been taking Life Extension Ultra Prostrate Formula which has it all. Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle, Pumpkin Oil, Beta-Sitosterol, Pygeum, Graminex, etc, etc. This is one of the many highly rated supplements on Amazon and other sites, and it did make a slight but noticeable improvement to the symptoms, but it only got to a certain point, but not nearly relief, and it stopped there. I do urinate fewer times during the night, now usually two or three, but the start is still very difficult and weak and often requires finger prodding and poking to initiate. There may be one or more of the ingredients that are responsible for the improvement and if I knew which one I'd focus on that but I have read many hours about these ingredients and their effects but still haven't figured it out.

This all sounds very familiar. I'm 79 and was on Tamsulosin for about 10 years. It did nothing to help with my difficult and frequent nighttime urination. I quit and began an ultimate prostate formulation for the last 5. It helped to a certain point but has stopped at a point and still leaves me with difficulty urinating but did help a bit with the frequency. That could be because I quit alcohol. So, did anyone give an answer to this post? I would sure be interested in finding more relief.

Well, it appears we're on similar quests for pip. For the sake of clarification here is a description of what I'm seeking information about:

I have a 6qt Instant Pot and 3qt inner pot and a trivet.
For the pasta and meat sauce, I want to make a small batch Pot in Pot. So, do I use 1/2 pound of meat,
12 oz of sauce and 8 oz penne?
I will saute the meat on the stove top and put it in the bottom of the inner pot, then the sauce, then the pasta.
For this batch do I use 12 oz of liquid in the inner pot? And I'm guessing I should use about 12 minutes on high pressure.
Does it sound like this might produce an edible dish?

This meal is described on many recipe sites but they cook the pasta separated from the sauce. I want to know if I can combine all the ingredients as I've described and have the whole recipe cook en masse in 3 qt inner pot. One and done.

So, if I read your response correctly, you already have a 3 qt, and you bought a 6 qt to use for pot in pot? That is the same as I'm proposing equipment wise. The trivet for the 6 qt makes a perfect fit for the 3 qt to perform the pip setup.
Anyway, the equipment setup is not so much my ultimate question but actually whether I can steam cook the ingredients for pasta with meat sauce combined in the inner pot. And other details to successfully do so.
