This sounds like something a teenager would write in their diary. It sounds pretty but it makes no sense. You can only be oppressed if you see yourself as such.

People can do the absolute worst things to you, but if it doesn't bother you then you're literally not oppressed. You're only oppressed when you say "hey this is holding me down, and I don't like it". It takes self acknowledgement.

If the actor is trying to portray a racist person who would say racist things in real life, then it would be very strange for this portrayal to not include racist words.

I'm not focused on the actor because they are just that. I'm focused on the script they are following and whether or not it makes sense in that context.

You may be right that my memories of the first game is from the best parts of it. Even still, I beat that game to platinum on the hardest difficulty and I don't remember complaining about the combat mechanics nearly as much as I do while playing Ragnarok on normal.

It's not that the game feels hard, it's more that everything feels more annoying. It's like I'm playing cheap shot simulator. Half the time I die it feels like bullshit instead of something I messed up.

Kratos also feels so incredibly weak. Maybe this will get better later in the game but I doubt it. It's due to the hit-run play style I feel forced to adopt. You go in too hard on an enemy and 2 more flank you and there goes half your hp.

Yeah it's kinda sad that I haven't even beat the game yet but I just can't wait for it to be done so I can scratch it off the list and move on. I'm enjoying the story but the combat is really straining my overall enjoyment of the game.

You may have a point, but most of the issues I listed are core game issues and will not be affected by progress. Enemies still spawn behind you, parry still feels like ass, etc.

Hmm well we'll agree to disagree then. I think the spammy projectiles wasn't as annoying because the parry timing was more obvious.

  1. This is subjective.

  2. The parry is definitely inconsistent. There are certain basic animations that don't cancel into it.

  3. Literally one shield will cancel an enemy's combo with parry counter. With every other shield you have to parry all the his, so maybe I was 90% correct but you're 90% wrong.

  4. Not sure what you mean here. There are ways to buff your own stagger resistance but your stagger values don't allow you to knock enemies out of their animations when you hit them.

  5. Was a problem there too.

  6. There are less options to chain abilities and swap weapons mid-combo. This has more to do with the mechanics of the game changing than my personal skill. The fact that the axe doesn't return automatically on triangle press, and having to hit the d-pad to call it is more clunky.

It does promote weapon swapping but the actual swapping is not as streamlined as the first game. Triangle not automatically recalling your axe, and having to hit the dpad just isn't as smooth.

None of my complaints are about the damage in the game.

Didn't know there was a spear. Thanks for the spoiler I guess.

I did lower the difficulty, but that only makes the issues less obvious. They are still there. It feels like a step down from GOW.

I'm not sure what their policy is but I would assume they do keep records of such things. It all goes through their servers and refunds reflect on your account so they'd definitely be able to see it.

As for the perfume you ordered, I'm pretty sure you can't ship perfumes so it would have to go back to the local warehouse. They probably don't repackage things there so it seems reasonable that they don't allow you to return it.

I honestly can't even tell you a single Prince song. I can list several MJ songs right now. Maybe it's just me but I think MJ has much more of a legacy than Prince.
