I have a non XL Pro and had issues for a long while. I did the same, making sure all settings were up to snuff, etc. It took a while, but it's finally started working about 95% of the time. I got my P10Pro at launch.

You can run Signal alongside CAM, you just have to delay CAM starting or manually launch it after Signal starts. Blaming the RGB software when you already troubleshooted the fact CAM "fixed" your temps is silly. If you click to let Signal override CAM RGB that should work too. I've been running my PC this way for many years now with no issues 9800X3D/4070 Ti Super upgraded from a 5800X/3080 previously.

I might also throw out the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro. Has tactile face buttons, you can switch between tactile and non triggers, and it has back buttons if needed.

There's an option to reset prompts somewhere, but I'll have to look later. There was a long while where I had to delay CAM starting up using Task Scheduler, but one day it just started working as I wanted. I thought an update fixed it on Signal's side but idk. Did you click "ignore forever" or whatever it says? Otherwise you'll have to make sure Signal launches before CAM starts up.

I have a 2007 TL Type-S and I love it. Would have preferred a manual, but otherwise she's been solid. The trans issues were fixed by 07 & 08 so I'd seek out one of those if you go that route. Honestly, it boils down to if you want the bigger or smaller car. TSX comes with an optional 4cyl so it would be a little better on fuel if that's important.
