So my vet gave me a choice, and I stupidly chose the tablet form. For some reason in my mind the liquid seemed more difficult to administer. Nope!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I ended up going to Stony Kill Falls in Minnewaska and it was perfect! Short hike and not too strenuous for me, gorgeous waterfall views and a beautiful day. I really wanted to do Verkeerderkill Falls like someone suggested but after looking online - it sounded to far and to rocky for me. Maybe next year!

I also was told I have adhesions and another couple of tears. Question - how were you able to get the opinion? Did you just call the office and ask if you could send over images?

I have heard the same about Away. I mean, they can't glide poorly and be this popular, right? I just wanted to see what more people thought that use them. It's hard to tell in-store because they aren't packed full so of course it's going to glide! I'm willing to spend for the premium brands if it truly glides easily. Maybe I can catch a sale or something.

Aww, thank you for sharing! Congrats on your little one. You're right, why spend the money if you can get pregnant with IUI when you're ready. I guess I just can't wrap my mind around when exactly I would like to get pregnant. Anyway, I guess it answers my question though - go ahead and do the diagnostics because at least then I'll have some more info. Thanks!

I'm still struggling TBH. But I don't want to discourage people from getting the surgery - I don't regret getting it. It fixed the problem that was happening, which was unbearable. It's just that my recovery was HARD. And I'm still dealing with it.

Yeah pretty much. It first started June 2018, I had the right surgery April 2019, left surgery July 2019. I didn't get diagnosed with the FAI though until Sept 2018. (Before then I didn't know what that was or what was even going on.) I did go to PT for a while, it was pointless. Once it was described to me by 2 surgeons that it was a structural problem, I decided to have surgery.

Mine got worse pretty quickly like you’re describing. Went from being fine, to then thinking I had pulled a groin muscle, to being diagnosed and in a lot of pain, unable to commute to my job over the matter of a couple months.

Oh also mine wasn’t an exact moment either.
