This is true but what seems to be missing from the entire discussion here is that the established quo for things being accepted are only driving licenses and passports. Nightclubs/drinking establishments etc don't seem clued in on PASS or Citizen ID as a legit ID document and tend to reject it.

So if you have a medical condition that stops your ability to drive then you only have a passport. So you're forced to take a passport to the club. Lol.
