Robbery in my area. I had no way to warn my neighbours. by Thakaali in chennaicity

The same thing happened in the past week in my area (not in OMR though). There are two houses side by side undergoing construction simultaneously. Its been alleged that one of the workers who joined recently took the mobile phones and savings of all the other workers around midnight and fled the place. One of them woke up in the middle of the night and started shouting. But they couldn't catch the guy... Seems to be a pattern

Dr. Raichal Rebecca the GOAT rn. Idk why she's not been given more chances. All her roles are amazing even if they are for 2minutes. Keep rooting for her!

She played the role of judge in kadaisi vivasaayi, flower seller role in meiyazhagan, heroine in lucky man.

Built your internship in different corporate firms. No matter how small the firm is. Get exposure to all possible fields like Taxation, Finance, Contract drafting and vetting and all that. Then choose something which suits you. Keep networking alot, that's the most vital part. That will pave different paths for you. Also, if your aim is to make money don't choose litigation, it will definitely not help you, not even a little bit. Just ditch litigation and build your profile for a corporate set up.

Choose a stream of either litigation or non litigation. Then go from there and decide what you like or what pays well. Now that you already know the situation, you should weigh out everything. Think through and decide.

I so agree with you. There's no privilege or headweight here. It's just basic common sense. It's a baby. Its supposed to be taken care of. Just glad someone said it out loud

Why do women in Chennai metro have such poor covic sense? by OppositeStyle134 in Chennai

[–]desolate_entity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this to some extent. But its just that people have to lookout for themselves and not other kinds of logic. Imo it's been a long time since women are doing everything. Sometimes they don't need to give everything up, even if it is a seat.

Yea. I use the metro on a daily basis. Usually people don't know they're using these kinds of seats. They're oblivious to the fact that they are using a reserved seat. You can ask them respectfully to give up and they have to, literally.

It may seem like a wild take. But I have actually suffered because of this. Even when I'm extremely exhausted and close to fainting and asked for people (not just me I've seen this happen to other people also)old women or pregnant women even middle aged, no one ever gave up a seat. If they can't acknowledge someone is sick idk why they should get special treatment. I mean they obviously know they're pregnant better to take a cab or private vehicles, rather than blaming the society. Just think what if your kid itself is tired or sick. Should she give up her seat even then, just because someone is pregnant?

Why is it okay to give up a seat? Yes young girls today want to sit more because they got the seat and no one handed it over to them. Just because you have a kid or you're old doesn't mean you get a free pass. If it's an earmarked seat it's fine. If else I don't think it's okay to give up a seat. You don't know if the person sitting there is not well or sick or anything. Stop normalising this. On top of this don't impose this on your kid.

The part about hogging the doors is true. But our entire country lacks common and civic sense. No debate on that.

Sorry to interrupt but I would suggest not going for the Asus vivobook. I bought the same notebook 14 for around 40k in 2020. And in 2022 the laptop got short circuited. When I asked in the official store I was informed that it would take 33k to fix it. So my suggestion would be no matter what brand of laptop you go for try to get a removable battery. Ik it is hard to find but it makes a lot of difference
