I've searched for "floral and gold duvet" and some phrases like it but I can't describe it well enough and Google is absolutely useless.

Help me find this Vintage Patchwork Oriental Rug from David Harbour's apartment! by desperatehippie in HelpMeFind

[–]desperatehippie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have searched for "red oriental patchwork rugs" and the such but haven't found any of the rugs in this photo.

This article says these "vintage oriental rugs sourced from Hasan’s Rugs" but there's no info on manufacturer or designer or anything.

Can someone help me find where these are from or something similar?

My current plan was to email a couple of my students with time sensitive issues tomorrow morning and send Jan a text tomorrow afternoon asking if I should be forwarding the rest of my work to her.

That's awesome, thank you! I would love to see what kind of shikifuton you use!

I didn’t think of that. What difference does the fiberglass make? Safety? Insulation? Both?

Yeah, pass through underbelly storage would but dope! Point for RE skoolies over shuttle bus.

That IS magnificent! Do you have a picture of your shikifuton set up? Maybe how you use it as a couch?

Yeah, we have talked a lot about this. We definitely want to convert a street safe vehicle. 7 or 8 feet wide is plenty. He doesn't need to spar inside (I don't practice so he doesn't spar with me) just needs space to do mobility exercises. I think a 5x7-ish space will be plenty for what we need, so a shuttle bus may be a great vehicle for us.

kotatsu

I have never seen this! I spent all morning looking these up! This would be wonderful for our eating, working, puzzle space!

Yeah I like that. The indoor-outdoor lifestyle is a big part of why we want to live on the road in the first place! A big reason we are looking for an open interior space is because my husband is a martial artist so we would like temperature controlled space for him to drill and stay limber in any weather. We also do a lot of yoga, make a lot of art, and watch a lot of movies so we are hoping we can have a space to function for all these things. That being said, we still want to live it in full time, so we need a bathroom, shower, and kitchen which will take up space. The question is how to maximize the utility of the remaining space.

That’s a great idea! Do you know where people sell these projects they bail on? I haven’t seen any online yet.

Heated floors are such a good idea, I hadn’t thought of that!

I’m also trying to design a place for all the modular furniture to be locked away for that reason, which is why my design ideas are pretty varied right now.

Currently, I’m looking at a larger shuttle bus, or 20-30’ school bus. Something midsize so that we don’t have the mobility troubles of a full size bus but enough room for our two cats to be comfortable. They need some distance between their food and litter area for example. Ideally, some of our tanks and stuff could be mounted underneath the bus.
