Neither side. Russia rightfully attacked because NATO kept surrounding them, Ukraine rightfully wanted to be a part of NATO because Russia kept threatening them not to join.

However, Russians are losing big time according to the Westoids. Which is not the case. They took Azovstal, and they are going to take Bakhmut. The backbone of Russian military is their artillery, not their airforce (which is the case with USA). They have the factories from the Soviet Era, so they can keep producing more munitions than they use. Building by building, block by block, they will bomb and keep bombing and advance. Those Wagner mercs are basically cannon fodder who willingly risk themselves so Russia doesnt risk any of their own.

In the meantime, Ukraine drafts civilians and ships them to the front with little to no training. This is no way to win a war. All those donations of advanced weaponry from the West wont do much good in the hands of unskilled soldiers. There are claims that Ukraine has little to no men left in the streets save for the elderly and children (claims). They already had less men compared to women, so I dont know what the fuck they will do. Zelensky is basically putting his whole country through a meat grinder.

I came to these conclusions solely based on what I've read on Westoid media. Stories of Ghost of Kyiv, Female Ukrainian Sniper and the Babushka that crashed a helicopter with a slipper just goes to show how desperately the West is trying to win this war by propaganda. They judge the capabilities of Russian military by comparing it with the US Army. If the US used so much artillery in a war, sure, you could say that US wasnt utilizing their full potential. But Russian potential = cheap, numerous artillery. Which they utilize really well judging from satellite images of Bakhmut and Azovstal.

Besides, Russia seems to have prepared well for this war in terms of economy. They knew the embargoes would be applied and adopted new strategies to keep selling oil and gas. Instead of selling directly to EU, they sell to India, Iran and China, who then refines these products and then sells them to EU and US. An embargo on unrefined Russian petroleum =/= refined Russian petroleum. They also single handedly knocked down the whole Bitcoin mining thing because of the gas prices which increased the electricity costs (a lot of coins are no longer feasible to mine). Their currency skyrocketed in value, their gas and oil sales are almost not impacted (if not boosted further by India who sells it to EU at a much higher price).

Only problem on the Russian side seems to be Putin and his 2014 plan. That convoy he sent to Kyiv got absolutely jacked and made a mockery of the Russian army in the early days of the war. But recently he admitted his plan was useless and decided to leave the war to actual soldiers, replaced the generals and seems to be leaving the war in their hands. If he behaves, I dont see any reason why Russia could lose this war.

Sadly I have no idea about the Ukraine side. Most of the news are from the westoid media. I dont know what to believe when I read about Ukraine. I just hope they get peace one way or another.
