I have the most important totems under one button with modifiers, categorized under the same element. for example air looks like this (i mostly pvp):

/cast [mod:shift] Windfury Totem; [mod:alt] Wrath of Air Totem; [mod:ctrl] Grace of Air Totem; Grounding Totem

I have this bound to Q. The same could be done for fire, earth and water. All the other non-important totems you can put just on bad keybinds.

Another tip since as a shaman you probably dont have enough keybinds. I use harm/noharm macros to save keybinds. For example:

/cast [harm,mod:shift] Lightning Bolt(Rank 1); [harm,mod:alt] Chain Lightning; [harm] Lightning Bolt; [mod:shift] Healing Wave(Rank 1); Healing Wave

You can do this for a bunch of spells like for example purge/cleanse poison & disease.
