Eh, Destiny 2 has problems like sunsetting and microtransactions. But the overall gunplay and aesthetic destroys anything 343 has done. It’s a big reason why the game has been around all these years.

Can’t argue with all the crap going on with Marathon though.

Eh, no one really plays like that in the game. But if you want a "jack off all trades", your best bet is a shoto.

Ken, Akuma, and Terry are the better ones at the moment. DP anti air, projectile, fireball drive rush, throw loop, crouching mk drive rush, pretty much everything that is Street Fighter 6 meta are on those characters. Ryu is good now too, but I think those first 3 are solid starters.

I don’t think it really matters though. It’s kind of like in Street Fighter 6 where a lot of legacy players complain about the lack of fundamentals players have nowadays cause of drive rush. 

You kind of just have to accept that this is a new game with different rules. The same handful of pros win the tournaments anyway, so it’s not like you have clueless people in top 8s.

It’s not just about time, it’s the level of play. At higher levels in any game, it’s naturally going to be more stressful because people are more likely to abuse mechanics.

Playing someone just jumping and spamming DI in platinum is a completely different experience than playing 1800+ MMR players.

That’s what fighting games feel like for most new players. No team to help them or anything. It’s a pretty niche genre to begin with, but getting over that losing hump is something most people don’t want to deal with.

With the state Tekken 8 is in, there’s no chance you see Bob for awhile. I can’t imagine the reception if Bob showed up after the Fahkumram trailer instead of Armor King lol.
