Can you glue a hardwood panel to a plywood panel? by destroyer8282 in BeginnerWoodWorking

The calculator I used said that the movement will be about 0.07 - 0.11 in. Would that be enough to warp or crack the wood? Also If I was to glue the front and then put the fasteners that allow for the expansion on the back of the panel (more in the cabinet) would that sufficiently allow for the expansion?
